AETHER STUDY
About
Visual study of Aether, a typeface designed by DDOTT, through a series of analogue scans exploring the material qualities of its editorial specimen, designed by Querida.
The project investigates the tactile dimension of the publication, using scanning as a photographic tool to reveal textures, transparencies and subtle printing details that are often overlooked. The resulting image series highlights the specimen's analogue character while extending its visual language into a collection of editorial compositions developed for social media.
